Many of us find it hard to establish or maintain a meditation practice. We do a course or go to a retreat, and come home with good intentions. But days and weeks pass and we’ve not made the time to sit and practice each day.
To help you get into the habit of regular meditation, we sit for meditation as a (small) group a couple of times each week. You’re very welcome to come along and sit with us.
The meditation is a guided mindfulness practice (for 20-30 minutes), followed by a guided intentional practice (loving-kindness, gratitute etc) or a silent sit.
There is no charge to attend the group sits.

How to participate
Call Dey on 5852 3853 or 0419 556470 or respond via Facebook so we know how many are coming. If it’s your first time, you’ll need to call to get the address.
Beginners are welcome (however, our meditation course will provide a more structured approach to learning to meditate).
What to bring
We have a few meditation mats (zabutons) and cushions (zafus) if you like to sit on the floor, and chairs are available. You’re also welcome to bring your own meditation cushion or seat.
In the cooler months, you might want to bring a shawl or blanket to keep warm. And wear or bring socks because you’ll remove your shoes before you come into the meditation room.
